Explanation of the Digimon Survive Karma System

Digimon Survive is a Visual Novel, Tactical Survival RPG developed by Hyde and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This game is a visual novel with an amazing story about a group of high school students who go on a journey and then encounter digimon and ghosts. You, the Player, will play as Takuma and be the protagonist of the Story. As you progress through the story, you will have to make certain choices. This choice will ultimately change the course of your game. The karma system keeps track of your choices, which in turn changes the path your digimon will take. In this guide, I will explain what the karma system is and what it does in Digimon Survive.

Explanation of the karma system in Digimon Survive

The karma system in Digimon Survive is responsible for which path your Digimon takes during Digivolving. There are three paths: Morale, Harmony and Wrath. Depending on the choice you make during the conversation with your partner Digimon, the path of evolution will be determined. You can determine which selection is their color. Here is how they are presented:

  • Morality – red (attribute of the vaccine)
  • Anger – yellow color (attribute of the virus)
  • Harmony – Green (data attribute)

If you choose the red option, Digimon will take the top route, the yellow option will take the middle route, and the green option will take the bottom route. Depending on the route the digimon takes, these will be types of vaccine, data, or virus. These three form a rock-paper-scissors relationship where:

  • Virus > Data
  • Data > Vaccine
  • Vaccine > Virus

So, depending on what you’re facing and what choices you’ve made so far, you can transform your digimon into the form you choose mid-battle. If you want to check your Digimon’s karma rating, you can go to your profile on your phone and then check it in the bottom right corner of the screen.

That’s all about the karma system in Digimon Survive.
