Realme UI 3.0 Early Access announced for Realme 8 devices

Realme UI 3.0 Early Access announced for Realme 8 devices

The Realme Realme 8 series debuted back in April 2020. Last month, the company released the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access update for the Realme 8 Pro. Now, it has announced the Realme UI 3.0 early access program for Realme 8 phone in the country.

For those who don’t know, Realme’s latest UI is based on Android 12 and comes with a lot of new features and changes. Realme reached out to the Realme Community Forum to make an announcement about it.

Realme 8 Android 12 will be available soon through the Realme UI Early Access Program!

Realme 8 users can apply for the Realme UI 3.0 early access program if they want to update their devices to Android 12 before everyone else. However, there is one catch. To apply for the program, Realme 8 users must update their devices to the latest RMX3085_11.A.24.

Realme started rolling out the RMX3085_11.A.24 update for Realme 8 just yesterday, and it’s rolling out in batches. As a result, there will be only a small fraction of Realme 8 users who can apply for the Realme 8 Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Program.

If you are using Realme 8 and updated to the latest RMX3085_11.A.24, you can follow the steps below to apply for the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Program.

  • Go to the Settings app.
  • Scroll down the page and click “Software Update”.
  • Now click on the settings icon which you will find in the top right corner.
  • Click on the first option which is the trial version.
  • Click Apply Now and then Submit Your Details.

Realme does not mention the number of users it plans to bring in to test the Early Access build. However, this must be on a first come, first served basis, so you should not wait to apply for the program. The company advises users to backup their personal data before upgrading to Realme UI 3.0 Early Access build. In addition, users must ensure that their devices are not rooted and that the device must have at least 5 GB of free space.

If you plan to upgrade, be aware that early access builds may not be as good as stable builds, and some apps may also have compatibility issues with Android 12.
