Netflix announces the end of Stranger Things.
Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer talk about the end of the Netflix series in an open letter to fans: Seven years ago, we created the full Stranger Things storyline. Season 4 will be the penultimate season and season 5 will be the last.
There are many more exciting stories to tell in the world of Stranger Things, such as completely unexpected new storylines, new adventures, and new heroes. But before that, we hope you’ll be on our side to finish the story of an incredible young girl named Eleven, her fearless friends, a fallen police chief, a reluctant mother, a small town called Hawkins, and an alternate dimension known as the Upper Side. Down.”
The brother duo also discuss the two-episode broadcast of the fourth season of Stranger Things: Nine scripts, over 800 pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects, and a runtime that far exceeds the length of seasons. Stranger Things 4 was the hardest part of filming, but also the most rewarding. All participants are extremely proud of the result and we can’t wait to share it with you. Given its scope, Season 4 will be divided into two volumes so you can discover it as soon as possible. The first volume will be released on May 27, and the second on July 1, 2022, five weeks later. ”
