OnePlus 10R will be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8000 series chipset, company reveals

OnePlus is set to launch a range of devices on the 28th of this month in India. The brand is expected to unveil OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite and OnePlus Nord Buds at the upcoming event. Along with these products, the company will also introduce another smartphone, which is believed to be the OnePlus 10R. Ahead of the upcoming launch, OnePlus India CEO Navneet Nakra confirmed to 91mobiles that the upcoming OnePlus 10R will feature the Dimensity 8000 series processor.

However, the brand has yet to confirm a launch date for the OnePlus 10R. OnePlus 10R is said to be a modified version of Realme’s GT Neo 3. The OnePlus 10R (codenamed “pickle”) has been in testing for several months now. The OnePlus 10R could be the first OnePlus series device without a warning slider. Renders of the upcoming OnePlus R-series device have recently been leaked, suggesting the phone will feature a punch-hole display.

OnePlus 10R: spec rumors

The upcoming OnePlus phone is said to offer a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor. It is said to be offered in two RAM configurations – 8GB and 12GB. The company can also give users the option to choose between 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage.

The OnePlus R series device is said to offer triple rear cameras including a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX766 sensor and OIS support. According to the leak, the secondary sensors on the upcoming OnePlus device could be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is said to be booting OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12.

The OnePlus 10R is said to come in two battery charging configurations, one with a 4500mAh battery + 150W fast charging and the other with a 5000mAh battery + 80W fast charging support.
