OnePlus Nord 2 now receives OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12: what’s new
OnePlus Nord 2 users in India are now getting the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 stable update. Just over a month ago, in April, the Nord 2 received its first open beta update, and after a couple of beta updates, the company began rolling out. stable version of android 12 update for Nord 2 users.
The OnePlus Nord 2 was launched in India last July with Android 11 pre-installed and is the phone’s first major update as the device is also likely to receive the Android 13 update next year. The Android 12 update for the OnePlus Nord 2 is currently rolling out to users in India and North America, while European users will receive the update soon in the coming days.
OnePlus Nord 2 OxygenOS 12 Based on Android 12 Changelog
The updated version for the Nord 2 Android 12 update is DN2101_11.C.04 and according to the forum, the update is available for the vanilla OnePlus Nord 2 as well as the Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition. However, some of the alarm and weather features of the Pac-Man version will not be available in this first release, and OnePlus has promised that the issue will be fixed in the next update. - Optimized desktop icons with improved textures thanks to a design inspired by brand new materials and merged lights and layers.
- Dark Mode now supports three adjustable levels, providing a more personalized and user-friendly experience.
- Work-Life Balance 2.0 now supports automatic work/life switching based on specific location, Wi-Fi network, and time, and provides customized app notification profiles to match personalization.
Over the past few months, the company has released open beta updates for the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, 8T, and 9R smartphones.
