Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event Details Released – LTM Return Control, New Lifeline City Capture, and More

The newest event taking place in Apex Legends on June 21 will finally bring the takeover of the city to Lifeline as Olympus gets a new meeting place between the Gardens and Grow Towers – Lifeline’s Clinic. The location contains modern automated healing systems that players can use.

Injured Legends will be able to stand on the platform, and the Healing Tether will activate and attach to them if the Medical Bay is charged. This might turn out to be one of the most interesting city takeovers as it gives players a great way to get back into the fight by healing themselves and their squad with med bays.

Lifeline’s Clinic also has an “Emergency Platform”in the back for better higher level loot, as well as an assistance package. The console can only be used once per game, so players can try to get to it first.

Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event Patch Notes

The event kicks off on June 21st and will bring back one of the most popular LTMs in the history of the game, Control, albeit with some changes.

LTM Returns Management

  • Get the ad drones in control for flavor and storytelling, but yes, you can shoot them too.
  • Improved matchmaking. Fill missing player slots at the start of Control mode with new players to prevent unbalanced matches.
  • Added tabs to the About screen that are visible in the lobby and available in test matches.
    • One of the new tabs has a breakdown of rating values.
    • Another has a breakdown of how the respawn system works.

Awakening Collection Events

Each new event in Apex Legends brings tons of new themed items to the game, and the Awakening Collection contains a total of 24 cool items available for direct purchase with Apex Coins/Crafting Metals.

These 24 items include legendary skins for Horizon, Fuse, Ash and more. Collecting all 24 items will unlock the last heirloom in Apex Legends, Valkyrie’s Suzaku.
