According to the Geekbench listing, the phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 and today, the main specifications and price of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G have been revealed online. According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC coupled with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The 700 SoC is noticeably 2.8x faster than the Helio P35 SoC on the Galaxy A12.
The inspector also suggested that the phone will have a 6.48-inch Full HD+ LCD display. In terms of camera, the phone will feature a triple camera on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera paired with a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone will have a large 5000 mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The price is $249, as the tipster points out, and that price could actually lead to good sales for Samsung. However, other than these basic specs and the $249 price tag, not much is known about the phone. Previously, when it was spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-A136U, the 4GB variant of the phone scored 465 and 1100 in single-core and multi-core Geekbench benchmarks.
However, we expect Samsung to release the phone and it would be great if the device came with OneUI 4.0 out of the box on top of Android 12 for under $200. So, we are monitoring the device and will share updates related to the phone.
