Redmi K50 Pro display features confirmed by new leak: WQHD resolution, Gorilla Glass Victus
Redmi is gearing up to launch the K50 series. The company will launch the Redmi K50 series in China today. Xiaomi is expected to release the K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+ at launch. The company has announced some key specs and features of upcoming Redmi flagships. A few hours before the launch, Xiaomi released a new teaser revealing the display features of the Redmi K50 Pro models.
The new teaser repeats some of the previously confirmed features, but also reveals some new details. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and other details of the Redmi K50 Pro.
Specifications of Redmi K50 Pro
Xiaomi has released a new teaser that confirms some of the key specs of the Redmi K50 Pro ahead of its official launch in China. The phone, as previously confirmed, will feature a 2K resolution Samsung AMOLED display. It will have WQHD resolution and Dolby Vision support. In addition to this, the teaser confirms that the screen will have 526 PPI and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Like many Redmi K-series smartphones, the K50 Pro will also have a DisplayMate A+ rating.
In addition to this, the company has confirmed that the K50 series will feature the Dimensity 9000 SoC, which is likely to be used in the Pro+ model. The K50 Pro is said to be equipped with a Dimensity 8100 SoC, while the vanilla K50 may come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC.
The K50 Pro models are likely to feature a 6.67-inch display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a cutout in the center at the top for the front camera. All three devices will feature triple cameras on the back. The Pro+ model will feature a 108-megapixel main camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. We can expect the other two camera sensors to feature an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP telemacro camera.
Apart from these specifications, Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi K50 series will come with WiFi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, IR blaster, and dual frequency GPS. The devices will also feature dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res audio certification. The Redmi K50 series will boot MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. The Pro+ model will ship with a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging out of the box.
