Overwatch 2 Legendary Kiriko Skin: How To Earn With Twitch Drops
Although OW2 beta testing ended on July 18, 2022, the standard version of the game was officially launched on October 4, 2022. In addition to many other new features and updates, the developers have added a few more characters to this game. Junker Queen, Sojourn and Kiriko are the three newest additions to the roster in OW2. While Junker Queen and Sojourn are unlocked after completing the in-game tutorial, you’ll have to work hard to get your hands on the new support character, Kiriko. However, to celebrate the launch of Overwatch 2, Blizzard has given players free Legendary Kiriko skins via Twitch. Read this guide to learn how to earn Kiriko’s legendary cosmetics while watching Overwatch 2 on Twitch.
How to Get the Legendary Kiriko Skin by Watching Overwatch 2 Stream on Twitch
The new legendary skin is called Sukajan Kiriko and anyone with a Blizzard account can get it. To earn the Sukajan Kiriko skin, you will need to watch Overwatch 2 for a certain amount of time. This offer is limited to not only getting the skin as a reward, but also Kiriko’s Razor Sharp spray and donut-shaped weapon charm. All you have to do to get the legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin is:
- Watch any Overwatch 2 live stream on Twitch for a total of six hours. Moreover, it is not necessary to watch the stream for six hours in a row, you can watch it intermittently. However, the due date is between October 7 at 11:00 PM CET / 10:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM ET and October 17 at 9:00 AM CET / 8: 00 AM PT / 3:00 AM ET / 12:00 PM PT.
- After that, watch any Overwatch 2 stream between October 17 at 8 PM CET / 7 PM PT / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT until October 24 to earn the Razor Spray. at 9:00 a.m. CET / 8:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET. / 12:00 pm Pacific time for 2 hours only. In addition, watch 3 more hours (5 hours in total) to receive a donut charm as a reward.
Also keep in mind that it’s very important to link your Battle.net account to Twitch. If both accounts are not linked to each other, the Sukajan Kiriko Legendary Skin will expire from your Overwatch 2 inventory.
How to Link an Overwatch 2 Battle.net Account to a Twitch Account
First of all, please note that you will have to re-link your Battle.net account to Twitch, even if you have previously participated in an Overwatch event. However, here’s what you need to do to link both accounts to be eligible for the Overwatch 2 Legendary Kiriko Skin:
- Make sure you have a Twitch and Battle.net account.
- Alternatively, go to the Battle.net dashboard and click on your username in the top right corner.
- Later, click “Account Settings”where you will find the “Connections”tab.
- Open this tab and find Twitch there. Now enter your Twitch login ID and password to continue.
