Overwatch 2 opts for a free economic model
Early launch and free play in the Overwatch 2 menu.
With new 5v5 multiplayer, cross-platform play, and cross-platform progression, Overwatch 2 has been designed to provide an exciting competitive gameplay experience in a new free-to-play setting, including new and redesigned characters, new modes, new maps, and premium cosmetics.

After Sojourn, the Junkers Queen is the second new heroine in Overwatch 2 and the 34th playable character licensed by the American studio Blizzard Entertainment. New iconic locations, such as New Queen Street representing Toronto under the snow, or Midtown with the characteristic bustle of Manhattan, will also be present from launch. Finally, in the advanced game mode, teams will compete for control of the robot in the center of the battlefield.

Overwatch 2 will be released in Early Access on October 4 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The beta version will be launched on June 28th.
