BGMI Open Challenge First Round Due April 21st: Everything You Need to Know
Round 1 of the BGMI Open Challenge (BMOC) will begin at 4:30 pm on April 21st and will feature the top 512 teams from the in-game qualifiers. The squads will be divided into 32 groups, each of which will play 5 matches.
The top 8 teams from each group will then advance to the second round of online qualifiers. So far, the BMOC has been a real tournament with The Grind showcasing some of the best BGMI teams in the country. There will be incredibly intense competition at the BMOC as each team tries to qualify for Round 4 and then eventually the BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) kicking off May 19th.
BMOC will start on April 21 and will run until May 15, 2022 and will be held in 4 stages.
The first round of the BGMI Open Challenge will begin on April 21 at 16:30.
BMOC Round 2 will feature the top 256 teams from Round 1, which will then be split into 16 groups. Each group will then play 5 matches and the top 4 teams from each group will advance to the 3rd round of online qualifiers.
What gets really interesting is Round 4, where the top 32 teams from Round 3 will compete alongside 32 invited teams. Then these 64 teams will be divided into 4 groups, each of which will play 6 matches. Only the top 6 teams from each group will advance to the BGMI Pro Series (BMPS).
The BMPS will feature the top 24 BGMI teams in the country, divided into 3 groups that will compete against each other in a round robin. Each group will play 24 round robin tournaments and the top 16 teams with the most points will advance to the Grand Final.
The Grand Final will feature the top 16 teams that have qualified for the league stage, who will then play 24 matches over 4 days. The team with the most points after 24 matches will be the winner of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series.
