The first trailer for I’m Groot is unbelievably cute

First trailer for I’m Groot. See you on August 10th.

Disney has decided to increase the number of series and movies under its Marvel licenses. We are talking, of course, about creations with very large budgets, but also about others, more modest, but not without interest. This certainly applies to the I Am Groot animated series centered around the eponymous character found in Guardians of the Galaxy. And the least we can say is that this series promises to be the cutest ever.

Ahead of said series’ big launch on August 10, Marvel has shared the very first trailer for its I’m Groot series. The American giant took advantage of San Diego Comic-Con to showcase these few adorable seconds in which we can spot Groot in his usual antics. In particular, we see a small humanoid tree dancing and trying on new outfits. At some point, Groot even gets involved in the fight against the army of aliens less than himself. His decision to defuse the conflict? Fart. Simple but effective.

Adventure Time host Kirsten Lepore wrote and directed I Am Gut, with Guardians of the Galaxy’s James Gunn as executive producer. And Vin Diesel is back as Groot’s voice actor. For a little information, know that the series takes place before the events of the most recent Thor: Love and Thunder. Five episodes of this cute series will be available on the Disney+ platform on August 10th. According to ComicBook.com, I Am Groot will later receive the rights to five additional episodes.
