Teased design of OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G
OnePlus will launch Nord CE 2 Lite 5G on April 30th. Ahead of the launch, the design of the mid-range smartphone was teased. A new teaser shows off the back panel design of the CE 2 Lite 5G. The design is very similar to Realme 9 Pro+ 5G and Oppo K10. Although the back panel is not as glossy as the Realme 9 Pro+, its camera module is similar to Realme’s top numbered smartphone. The rectangular camera module has two large circular cutouts next to which is now tiny for a third sensor. The LED flash module is also located inside the camera module.
The area next to the camera module has vertical stripes, under which there is a smooth back. This design is similar to Oppo K10. The teaser image also confirms that the phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The OnePlus logo is located in the center of the back in blue. The Amazon microsite confirms that this variant will be called Blue Tide. The same microsite reports that the device will feature a notch in the upper left corner of the display.
OnePlus is expected to release more teasers of the device. The company recently confirmed that the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery. It will support 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The rumor mill has also leaked some details about the device. It will be equipped with a 64MP main camera sensor and two 2MP sensors. The device will feature a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS display. It can also support 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC and is expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone is rumored to run OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.
