Pixelmator Pro 3.0 Launches With Over 200 Design Templates
The team says the new design templates make it easy to create consistent visuals across platforms and media. These brand templates are essentially collections of templates created using the same design language.
They are easily personalized and grouped into twelve categories covering many different formats such as posters, social media posts, resumes, web, print and more.
“To make it easier to create consistent visuals across platforms and media, we are introducing brand templates, which are collections of templates created using the same design language,” explains the team.
Introduction to Document Colors
All templates and mockups are customizable and come with built-in color presets. Available from the new Document Colors menu, they allow you to completely change the look of an image with just a few clicks.
This feature works by changing all the non-destructive colors in the composition – be it a gradient stop in a gradient map effect, a color fill, or even a drop shadow. You can also customize individual colors in templates or in your own projects to create new document color presets.
You can also use new alternative elements such as lighting, shapes, effects, and illustrations to add more variety to your templates.
Functions based on artificial intelligence
Other improvements in this update include a machine learning feature that optimizes placeholder images by removing backgrounds, upscaling, and even positioning them. Read: How to Change the Default Image Viewer in macOS
The new Smart Replace feature combines Remove Background, Auto Fill, and Machine Learning Super Resolution to replace placeholder content. The update is free for all existing app users.
