Initially, the integration will allow ZEBEDEE US customers to buy bitcoins with their card (credit or debit). This is being edited, this integration will be quickly extended to more countries and currencies, it will also be possible to sell bitcoins to receive fiat money directly into a bank account.
While MoonPay offers similar services, the partnership with ZEBEDEE is different in that it is based on the Lightning Network, a layer 2 blockchain that facilitates instant transactions with near-zero fees, but its use has always been somewhat problematic for newbies due to the difficulty of transferring bitcoins from the blockchain to lightning network.
The worlds of cryptocurrency and gaming are merging, and the two industries are proving to be very compatible. With over three billion players around the world, incorporating cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin into games is a great way to democratize cryptocurrencies by providing users with a simple, intuitive, and harmless experience.
