Fallout 5 will only appear after the release of The Elder Scrolls 6

Once Starfield is completed, which is expected to happen sometime next year, and The Elder Scrolls 6 enters full-scale production, Bethesda announces that its next project will be Fallout 5, admitted Todd Howard shared during an interview, given by IGN.

“Yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production, and you know, after that we’re going to make Fallout 5, so our schedule is already busy,” Bethesda’s creative director said. “We have several other projects that we work on from time to time, but they take a lot of time. I wish they could get out faster, really. We do our best, but we also want them to be perfect for everyone.”

In other words, in ten years, most likely,

Bethesda announced that it was working on Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 at the same time at E3 2018. Based on the studio’s current pace of development, the latter probably won’t be released until 2027. And if another five years go by, more people will be working on it. After that, Fallout 5 will be released, so the sequel will not appear until ten years later, around 2032. By then, Microsoft and Sony will likely announce and release new consoles. A major climate change could also affect the planet, and such a post-apocalyptic game could ultimately only be a reflection of reality. Everything is possible. Either way, Fallout fans will have to wait a long time before discovering a major new installment.
