Poco F4 Pro listed on IMEI database, indicating launch could happen soon, tech specs also leaked
Poco recently introduced the Poco M4 Pro and Poco X4 Pro 5G phones to global markets. The company has yet to unveil the F-series phones. If the leaks are to be believed, the F-series could be made up of three devices this time around – Poco F4, Poco F4 GT, and Poco F4 Pro. Now Xiaomi employees have discovered a global variant of the upcoming Poco F4 Pro with model number 22011211 in the IMEI database.
People at Xiaomiui are claiming that the upcoming Poco F4 Pro is codenamed Matisse and could hit the Indian market as Xiaomi 12X. The Chinese equivalent of the same phone was spotted just last week on TENAA. This leads us to believe that the upcoming Poco F4 Pro will be a rebadged Redmi K50 series phone.
The Poco F4 Pro is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. It can offer a triple rear camera setup including a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, a 13MP secondary ultra-wide lens, and a macro sensor. It is said to offer a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise given that all Poco F-series devices except the OG Poco F1 have been rebranded as Redmi K-series devices. For those who don’t know, Poco F2 Pro, Poco F3 and Poco F3 GT have been renamed as Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Gaming respectively.
A few weeks ago, a Poco F4 GT with model number 21121210 was found in the IMEI database. The detailed specifications of the Poco F4 GT also recently surfaced online. The F4 GT is believed to be a rebadged Redmi K50 Gaming that was launched last week in China.
Previously, Poco F4 with model number 22021211 was spotted in the BIS and EEC databases. At the moment, nothing more is known about the Poco F4 and Poco F4 Pro in terms of specifications. However, we will know the full specifications of the device as soon as Xiaomi announces the Redmi K50 series devices in China.
