Poco India Teases F Series Smartphone Launch, Poco F4 Expected
Poco India is gearing up to launch a new F series device in the Indian market. The brand says the upcoming Poco F-series device will debut in the Indian market. The next Poco device is expected to be the Poco F4.
As a reminder, the brand launched the Poco F1 back in 2018, followed by the Poco F3 in 2021. But the Poco F3 didn’t make it to India and the brand launched the Poco F4 GT instead. Now it looks like the brand is finally bringing the F-series back to India.

A couple of weeks ago, the Poco F4 GT MIUI India firmware appeared on the network, which hinted at an imminent launch. In addition, live images of the Poco F4 leaked online a couple of days ago.
Poco F4 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 was spotted on the Geekbench database some time ago. The test list for the Poco F4 showed the model number of the device, i.e. 22021211RG. Based on this, the phone could be rebranded as the Redmi K40S, which was launched back in March in China. However, compared to its Redmi counterpart, the Poco F4 may come with a 64MP camera.
Poco F4: expected features and price
The upcoming Poco F4 is expected to offer a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a notch in the center. The front shooter on the device could be a 20MP sensor. While on the back it may have a triple camera setup.
The Geekbench listing for the phone suggested it would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and 8GB of RAM. The phone is expected to come with a 4,500mAh battery and support for 67W fast charging.
Redmi K40S costs around Rs 22,000 for the 6GB + 128GB configuration in China. We can expect it to cost less than Rs 25,000 in the country.
