Poco M4 5G with Dimensity 700 SoC, 50MP rear camera: full specs leaked
Poco recently updated its M-series lineup. The company launched M4 Pro 5G and then M4 Pro 4G. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek chipset and come with an AMOLED display. The company is currently gearing up to launch a new 5G-enabled smartphone. Poco M4 5G is expected to be released very soon.
Poco has yet to confirm the key details of its upcoming budget smartphone. Meanwhile, some key details of the phone have been leaked. The new leak lists the full specifications of the M4 5G. Let’s take a look at the Poco M4 5G specs, features and other details leaked online.
Specifications Poco M4 5G
The Poco M4 5G is expected to be a new smartphone that will cost around $157 upon launch. The launch date of the device is not yet known. While we wait, tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the phone’s main specs. According to the leaked information, the phone will ship with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC to support 5G network.
The device will feature a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. It will come with 90Hz refresh rate support. There will be a dual camera on the back of the phone. It will feature a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is no ultra wide-angle camera on the M4 5G.
For selfies and video calls, there will be a 5MP front camera sensor. The phone will ship with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. There will also be a 5000 mAh battery. It will support 18W fast charging out of the box.
The smartphone is said to run Android 12 out of the box. On top of Android there will be a layer of MIUI 13 for Poco.
Based on the leaked specs, it’s safe to say that the phone is an upgraded version of the Redmi Note 11E released earlier this year in Japan. This means that the phone will have a waterdrop notch and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As expected from a budget smartphone, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a plastic case.
