Poco X4 GT spotted in IMEI database: nomenclature confirmed
Poco recently released the Poco F4 GT to global markets. It looks like the company has another phone with the GT name, the Poco X4 GT. The Poco X4 GT will be the company’s second phone in the Poco X4 lineup. For those who don’t know, the brand announced the Poco X4 Pro 5G a couple of months ago, but the company has yet to announce the vanilla Poco X4.
People at Xiaomiui spotted the moniker of the upcoming Poco phone in the IMEI database. The IMEI database list also shows the Poco X4 GT model number which is 22041216G. People at Xiaomiui are also claiming that the Poco X4 GT is codenamed xaga. Let’s take a closer look at the Poco X4 GT and what we know about it so far.
Poco X4 GT: Rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro?
Based on the model number, the Poco F4 GT will be a rebadged device from the Redmi Note 11T Pro series. This should come as no surprise as last year’s X3 GT has also been rebranded as the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.
As a reminder, just last week we spotted an upcoming Poco phone with model number 22041216G on the FCC certification database. According to the FCC listing, the Poco X4 GT will come in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The phone will ship with MIUI 13 preinstalled.
Poco X4 GT+?
Xiaomiui also claims that Poco will launch its first phone called Plus, the Poco X4 GT+. According to the report, Poco X4 GT+ will be renamed as Redmi Note 11T Pro+ and will have model number 22041216UG.
A Poco phone with model number 22041216UG did indeed show up in the FCC certification database last week, but the device’s moniker has yet to be confirmed by any database listing.
