Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet: Nintendo Unveils Collectible Switch OLED Screen
The new Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple games will feature a special limited edition Nintendo Switch with an OLED model.
Nintendo Switch OLED – Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition will be released on November 4, priced between €339.99 and €359.99 (price varies by retailer), two weeks before the launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Two new licensed Pokémon games developed by Japanese studio Game Freak will not be available on the Collector’s Console.
Finished in high-gloss white, the dock features the iconic Pokémon Corydon and Miraydon on the front of the dock, and artwork inspired by the iconic Pokéball on the back. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple starters appear on the back of the hybrid console, namely Poussacha, Chochodile, and Coiffeton. Finally, the scarlet and purple Joy-Con is adorned with the Orange Academy and Raisin Academy emblems.
Treasure Hunt in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple
As part of a school curriculum project, players will embark on what Paldea calls a “Treasure Hunt”that will lead to three storylines linked to the main story of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple.
- Path of the Master: Proceed through the arenas of the region to try to reach the rank of Master.
- Legendary Perfume: Look for rare ingredients called “Secret Spices”with Pepper, a high school student.
- Stardust’s goal: to challenge Team Star, a group of troublemakers who are wreaking havoc at the school.
“Forward!”is a new feature in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple.
To explore the Paldea region and its vast expanses with their favorite pocket monsters, Game Freak has created the “Go!”feature. allowing them to be sent in the right direction to collect items and automatically attack Pokémon they encounter in the wild. As a reminder, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on November 18th.
