Booster Energy is a held item used to increase the stats of Paradox Pokémon without a trigger. Paradox variants are part of the post-game unlockables in Scarlet & Violet. These variants have exclusive abilities such as Quark Drive and Protosynchronous. Using these abilities, they can increase their highest stat in combat. But they are caused by terrain conditions such as harsh sunlight or electrical terrain. On the contrary, you can use this item to trigger these abilities without any requirements. This can prove to be a huge advantage in any battle. However, it doesn’t work with regular Pokémon, so you’ll need to catch the Paradox variant.

Where to find booster energy

First, you have to go through all the main storylines in order to gain access to the Zero Gate. From there, you can enter Lab Zero at the bottom of Area Zero. Once you get there, look around the pile of rocks and you’ll find this item in a pokeball. You can also get Booster Energy in Scarlet and Violet by catching Paradox Pokemon.
