How to find a store that accepts Apple Pay on iPhone, iPad, Mac

As you can see, many offline and online stores accept Apple Pay. However, this may vary by country and region. You should be looking for Apple Pay and the contactless payments icon.

If a physical store, website, or app has these icons, they should accept Apple Pay. What else? You can also find an Apple Pay-enabled store on Apple Maps.

Here’s how:

  1. Open Maps on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
  2. Find a specific location either using the Search Maps panel or by scrolling to its location.
  3. After defining the destination, click on its name. This will show you some information and commands like Routes, Call, Website, Address, etc.
  4. In the Good to Know section, look for the Apple Pay symbol.

Note. If you’re on a Mac, the Apple Pay symbol is in the same section, but instead it’s called Good to Know.

That’s all you need to do to find stores that accept Apple Pay using your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Why doesn’t Walmart accept Apple Pay?

There’s a reason why Walmart isn’t on the list of stores that accept Apple Pay (check it out for yourself with the method above!)
