Sony PS4 users get three months of Apple TV Plus for free
Sony has announced that new and existing users of the PlayStation 4 game console will now receive a limited period of access to a free Apple TV Plus subscription. The offer will only be valid for those who are not existing subscribers or were a subscriber at some point in Apple TV Plus, so the promotional program is limited to new customers of Apple’s streaming service only. However, any Sony PS4 owner can take advantage of this offer other than that one criterion.
Sony PS4 deal: how to get Apple TV+ for free
It is important to note that the free Apple TV Plus subscription is only available to all Sony PS4 users for a limited period of time. As a result, those who take advantage of the offer will receive the service within three months.
To receive the service, users will need both PlayStation Network IDs, which must already be registered with the PlayStation Store. In the store, users can search for and download the Apple TV Plus app on their consoles. Once downloaded, users will need to sign in to the app using their existing Apple ID, or create a new one if they don’t already have one.
Once an ID has been obtained, users will need to sign in with their own Apple ID. The app will then link the user’s Apple ID to the PlayStation Network ID, and the two IDs will be linked. Users will then be prompted on the screen with a promotional offer with which they will need to accept the terms.
Once accepted, users will need to add credit card information to the file. This step is mandatory for Apple, but it won’t deduct any fees at this time. After adding the card details, a three-month free subscription period will be activated. If users choose not to continue their paid Apple TV+ subscription later, they will need to manually delete their card data at any time before the end of the three-month period.
Sony previously introduced this offer on PS5 and the same is available even now. Both will expire on July 22, 2022.
