After BGMI, Free Fire, Valorant and COD: Mobile, Revenant Esports Announces Apex Legends First Team
Revenant Esports just announced their first ever Apex Legends team, joining the Revenant BGMI, Free Fire, Valorant, and Call of Duty Mobile teams. The team will compete in the ALGS playoffs in Sweden, making them the only Indian team to play in the tournament.
Revenant Esport will be playing alongside some of the most famous esports organizations in the world such as G2 Esports. Cloud 9, TSM and 100 thieves. The team will play in the ALGS Split 2 playoffs in Sweden from April 29 to May 1, 2022.
“Over the past couple of months, Apex Legends has managed to attract a solid audience through ALGS and become one of the top 5 most viewed on Twitch,” said Rohit N Jagasia, founder and CEO of Revenant Esports. “The Apex Legends esports scene has huge potential to grow further with our new signings and we are very ambitious to make Revenant a global organization.”
Revenant Esports Announces Their First Apex Legends Team
The team currently consists of Muhammad Iqbal Salis “BellkunX_”, Kadafi, Muhammad Zidane “MeXiousx”Syahada, Muhammad “laheemx_”Ilham, coached by Apex Legends veteran Hasan Ali “FATTMONSTER”Naqvi.
“I am very proud to be the only Indian organization participating in the ALGS Split 2 playoffs in Stockholm as I am also the only Indian coach/player at the event,” said Ali “FATTMONSTER” Naqvi. “Our Indonesian players are very excited to join Revenant Esports and look forward to an exciting future.”
This marks a rather monumental shift in how the Apex Legends competitive scene is viewed in the country, making it a much more viable option than before for Indian esports organizations. The game has a growing competitive scene that continues to attract attention every year, and it will be exciting to see how Revenant Esports perform alongside the world’s best teams in the Apex Legends Global Series.
