Produced by Paramount Television Studios, The Godfather is a ten-episode behind-the-scenes miniseries created and written by Michael Tolkien (Escape from Dannemora, The Gambler) with Nikki Toscano (The Hunters) as showrunner. In addition to Michael Tolkien and Nikki Toscano, executive producers along with Dexter Fletcher (Sunshine on Leith, Eddie the Eagle, Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman) who also directed the first part of the show.

Inspired by Albert S. Ruddy’s experience on the set of the 1972 cult film that Francis Ford Coppola directed and adapted with Mario Puzo from the latter’s bestseller. The cast includes Matthew Goode as Robert Evans, Juno Temple as Betty McCartt, Giovanni Ribisi as Joe Colombo, Dan Fogler as Francis Ford Coppola, Burn Gorman as Charles Blahdorn, Colin Hanks as Barry Lapidus, and Patrick Gallo as the role of Mario Puzo.
The offer will air on April 28 on the Paramount+ streaming platform.
