Samsung Galaxy M33 and Galaxy M23 with 6.6-inch display and 50-megapixel camera presented: price, specifications

Samsung has announced a couple of new mid-range phones as part of the M-series. The company silently listed the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M23 5G and Samsung Galaxy M33 5G in its official newsroom. The latest Samsung Galaxy M-series phones come preloaded with Android 12.

Like the S series devices, the M series devices will also not come with a charger in the box. Let’s take a closer look at the features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M23 and Galaxy M33.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G specifications and features

The Galaxy M33 features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ TFT display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a waterdrop notch. The phone offers an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Galaxy M33 is equipped with four rear cameras and an LED flash. The main sensor of the device is a 50-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It comes with a 5MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens, a 2MP f/2.2 macro lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

Galaxy M33 is equipped with an octa-core processor with a peak frequency of 2.4 GHz. However, the company did not provide details about the processor. It comes in two configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The smartphone boots OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12.

The Galaxy M33 is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery. It comes in three color options – blue, green and brown. The phone weighs 215 grams and measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 9.4mm.

Specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy M23 5G

The display on the Galaxy M23 is exactly the same as on the Galaxy M33. The phone offers an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy M23’s camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery.

The Galaxy M23 is equipped with an octa-core processor with a peak frequency of 2.2 GHz. It comes in a single configuration – 4GB + 128GB. It comes preloaded with OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12.

The Galaxy M23 comes in two color options – dark green and light blue. Its dimensions are 165.5 x 77 x 8.4 mm and the weight is 198 g.

Both the Galaxy M23 and M33 support 5G and offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
