Give Jailbroken iPhone Volume HUD a New Color Scheme with Veloc
iOS developer ElioFegh released a new jailbreak tweak called veloc this weekend that allows hackers to colorize their phone’s HUD volume interface in any way they see fit.
As you can see in the example screenshots above, the tweak takes a two-color approach to improving the aesthetics of your volume HUD and provides one color for the usable part of the volume bar and a secondary color for the unused part of the volume bar. volume bar.
But the intrigue doesn’t end there, because by visiting the dedicated settings panel in the Settings app, you’ll find that you can actually select two different sets of colors, one when your device is set to use light mode, and the other when your device is set to using dark mode:
In the settings panel, you can change the following options:
- Enable or disable back color (unused volume potion)
- Enable or disable front color (used portion of the volume bar)
- Setting the background color in light mode
- Adjusting the facade color in light mode
- Customize the dark mode background color
- Customize dark mode front color
Once you’ve applied the settings you prefer, you’ll be able to see them take effect immediately by pressing the volume up or down buttons. If necessary, you can restart your device to start the changes right away.
Anyone interested in trying out the new veloc jailbreak tweak can download it for free from ElioFegh’s personal repository using whichever package management app they prefer. The tweak only supports jailbroken iOS 13 and 14 devices.
