Game crash issues in PUBG new state fixed in new update available on google play store

PUBG New State is finally out and players got their first few hours with the game, but it looks like there are still a couple of shortcomings that need to be ironed out. Since launch, Krafton and the development team have been hard at work trying to iron out any issues that have arisen, including those preventing players from checking their rewards and currency in their inventory.

While PUBG New State has been fairly well received by fans in general, it looks like the game still needs a number of fixes. To this end, the developers have just released an additional update that fixes system issues, but only for Android devices.

Earlier this morning, PUBG New State went down for maintenance to address persistent login issues, which the team was finally able to fix after a lengthy maintenance period. We hope that an additional update will be able to fix many of these issues so that players can experience the game in the best possible way.

This optional update brings the following fixes to the game:

  • Changed default graphics API settings to OpenGL ES for non-Vulkan devices.
  • Fixed game crashes related to the Vulkan API that occurred on certain devices.
  • Fixed an issue where optimizing the game right after launch would cause the game to crash.
  • Fixed other issues that were causing system crashes in the game.

To update the game, just go to the Google Play Store, go to the PUBG New State page, and click the “Update”button to download. Also, if users are unable to download the update, please go to Settings > Application > Google Play Store > Storage > Delete Cache and then download the update.
