The rugged Apple Watch Pro spearheads Apple’s new line of wearables.

CUPERTINO, Calif. — Today at its annual iPhone event in September, Apple unveiled an updated Apple Watch lineup that includes three Watch models for three types of users.

Apple has announced the Apple Watch Series 8, which will be the direct successor to Apple’s previous flagship wearable. The new temperature sensor is designed to improve women’s health tracking. Apple claims that temperature sensors both on the underside of the display and directly under the skin can track changes as small as 0.1 degrees Celsius. Users can receive notifications of cycle deviations and other deviations tracked by temperature, heart rate and cycle registration.
