Samsung Galaxy A53 production starts at Greater Noida plant in India, launch expected soon
Samsung is working on a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A52. High-quality renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G have already been leaked. Leaked renders have revealed that the Galaxy A53 will borrow the design language from its predecessor. Now, a new report from 91mobiles shows that the company has started mass production of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G phone at the Greater Noida plant in India. This means the launch is just around the corner and we can expect the company to announce a launch date at any time.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G: design and specifications
The Galaxy A53 5G appears to have borrowed the design from its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A52. This means that the upcoming Galaxy A53 5G will feature a punch-hole display with a bezel-less design. The display panel of the device is called an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. We can safely assume that it supports Full HD resolution and is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone can be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G octa-core processor that the company used in the Samsung Galaxy A52s as well as the Galaxy M52. The back panel of the phone will be made of polycarbonate and will house four rear-view cameras. The main sensor on the device is said to be a 64MP sensor, while the specs and functions of the other sensors are unknown.
The Galaxy A53 lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, so audio will also be routed through the USB Type-C port. The thickness of the device is about 8.14 mm. The phone has been leaked in white, but we can expect the company to release it in other colors as well.
Unfortunately, only this is known about the device. However, as we get closer to launch, we can expect it to show up on certification and testing websites. What are your expectations for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G? Let us know in the comments below.
