ProMotion now works with Safari thanks to macOS 12.2

ProMotion is finally compatible with Safari, but only in macOS 12.2.

Among the new features introduced by Apple in the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros is ProMotion. For those who don’t know, this is a marketing term for the Apple brand, which means that its laptops have a screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. That said, it’s not clear why not all apps were compatible with this 120Hz refresh rate. the web home browser, Safari, was on that list.

That being said, today there is good news on this subject for MacBook Pro owners who frequently use Safari. Indeed, with the latest macOS 12.2 update, Safari now supports this higher refresh rate.
