PUBG Makers Krafton Launches New Thunder Tier One Game On Steam

Thunder Tier One is the latest offering from Krafton, the developers and publishers of PUBG, as well as PUBG Mobile and New State. The game is a realistic top-down shooter in which players take control of a squad of elite operatives tasked with taking down a dangerous terrorist organization in the fictional Eastern European country of Salobia.

The game is currently available for purchase on Steam for $7. The game can be played alone with AI Teammates or in co-op mode for 4 players. Players will have full control over their weapons and equipment in each mission, while being able to customize their equipment to suit the situation. Thunder Tier One has a total of 4 multiplayer modes, offering players solid PvP and PvE action.

Multiplayer modes in Thunder Tier One:

• Exfil: A 4v4 mode in which the attacking team is tasked with capturing the packet within the allotted time, and the defending team is tasked with preventing it by any means possible.
• Promotion and Security: A 4v4 mode in which teams battle each other to try and capture a number of sectors and claim victory.
• Death Match: Free classic game for up to 8 players.
• Domination: A PVE mode in which a team of up to four players compete against the clock to secure a series of checkpoints, defuse explosives, and defend against counterattacks.

Thunder Tier One also boasts a modding tool that will be available shortly after launch. The modding tool will allow players to add and modify missions, weapons, AI behaviors, equipment, and possibly more. It will be interesting to see if PUBG and Thunder Tier One’s player bases overlap, and if this top-down shooter can make it to the big leagues like other big Krafton titles.
