BGMI players in the country will be able to register and then subsequently compete in the qualifying stages of the tournament for a chance to take on 32 invited professional teams in the latter stages. The Snapdragon ConQuest tournament initiative was launched in November 2020 in hopes of attracting new esports talent in the country.

The BGMI esports landscape has been constantly evolving over the past few years, both in terms of popularity and the quality of the talent on display.
