Rainbow Six Year 7 Season 1 Operation Demon Veil Details, Year 7 Roadmap Revealed

Ubisoft has just unveiled new content that awaits players in the first season of Rainbow Six Siege Year Season 1 called “Demon Veil”. The newest Operator is Azami, a Defender with medium speed and medium health, with throwing kunai knives that create Kiba Barriers that essentially block off open spaces.

Apart from the new operator, Y7S1 will also add a new map called Emerald Plains, a permanent Team Deathmatch mode. Alongside the new content are all sorts of gameplay overhauls such as the Attacker Repick, changes to scope and scopes, outdoor cameras and drones, and an overall balance of operators.

Azami, a Japanese operator, uses his Kiba barriers, which can be used to create bulletproof barriers by simply throwing a modified kunai knife on a surface. Her weapons of choice are the 9x19VSN submachine gun, the ACS12 shotgun (primary weapon), and the D-50 (secondary/sidearm).

Rainbow Six Year 7 Siege Roadmap

The Demon Veil Season Test Server opens tomorrow, allowing select players to preview new content and gameplay changes in Rainbow Six Siege in advance. Ubisoft has also released a roadmap of content coming to Rainbow Six Siege in the coming year, and it includes a lot of exciting details.

Rainbow Six Siege introduces 4 new Operators in Year 7. Azami has been announced as the operator from Japan, while the next three will be from Belgium, Singapore and Colombia.

Season 1 confirmed the arrival of Attacker Repick and a permanent Team Deathmatch. Season 2 will bring the shooting range, better operators, as well as friendly fire sanctions and new controller input presets and FOV settings for consoles.

Season 3 will focus on a beta version of the display of reputation points, early voice and chat restrictions, and ranking 2.0. Finally, regular arcade games will be coming to Rainbow Siege in Season 4, which should be a lot of fun for fans. Along with that, Season 4 will also include a new reputation system.

However, one of the most interesting things coming to Rainbow Six Siege is cross-play and cross-progression. It looks like Ubisoft will be working on this feature all year long and aim to have it ready for Season 4.
