BGMI Update 2.0 Release Schedule: Coming to Android and iOS today; How to download

BGMI is ready to receive its latest 2.0 update as Livik is getting a major update along with the usual weapon balance adjustments, a new vehicle and more. In the upcoming update, players will get an updated look at Livik, adding new interactive areas and elements such as ziplines, football arenas, and HP-replenishing grasses throughout the map.

The update will launch today for Android and iOS devices. Players can choose to download the update manually, but the game will automatically prompt players to download the update as soon as they launch the game after the update is released.

To download the update manually, simply go to the Google Play Store (for Android) and click the Update button. iOS users can also go to the App Store and update the game manually.

Android users are expected to have the update available from 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm on the Google Play Store (link here), while iOS users will have access to the update at 4:00 pm via the App Store (link here).

In addition to the changes to Livik, XT weapon crates are one of the new additions to BGMI. These crates will allow players to upgrade weapons like the AKM and M416 to their XT variants, a more powerful version of the weapon. This could prove to be a great addition to the meta as it can help players get the edge they need in the firefight.

The newest vehicle in the game, the UTV is an all-terrain vehicle capable of traversing any terrain without too much trouble. The developers have also added a new feature to Erangel and Miramar – an emergency pickup.

The Emergency Pickup will allow players to summon a dropship and deliver it to a safe zone instantly, saving them from an uncomfortable ring death. The BGMI 2.0 update brings quite a lot of new things to the game, and it remains to be seen if players will accept the problems with the new meta or if the new settings will appeal to fans.
