Realme may soon expand its laptop lineup with a new addition to the Realme Book series. Last month, the company launched the Realme Book Enhanced Edition as well as the Realme Book Enhanced Air laptops, and now according to the latest developments, the company is getting ready to launch the Realme Book Prime.

Realme Book Prime expected to launch

According to a report from 91mobiles, the Realme Book Prime will be launched soon and the laptop will most likely be rebranded as Realme Book Enhanced Edition. This information was reported by Mukul Sharma, and the informant says that the launch could happen in the next couple of months, that is, by the end of April 2022. The Realme Book Prime could also launch in several markets in Asia, according to the report.

Specifications of Realme Book Prime (expected)

Since the Realme Book Prime is said to be a rebranded enhanced edition of the Realme Book, here’s what we can expect from a machine based on the Chinese variant. If the Enhanced Edition does indeed launch as Prime, it will feature an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11320H processor (Willow Cove architecture) built on the 10nm SuperFin process. It comes with four cores and eight threads with a base turbo frequency of 3.2GHz and a high core frequency of up to 4.5GHz.

In addition, 16GB dual-channel LPDDR4x RAM and a fast 512GB PCIe SSD are expected. Compared to the regular Realme Book Slim, the Prime version will feature a higher TDP (35W) processor and an improved dual-fan cooling system. On the front, it has a 14-inch 2K Full Vision display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 400 nits of brightness. There is also a 54Wh battery with support for 65W fast charging via a Type-C port. In terms of ports, you get Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, USB-A 3.1 Gen 1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The RealmeBook Enhanced Edition is priced at 4,999 yuan in China, which is roughly $785.
