Realme 9 5G set to launch in March, leaked design reveals triple rear camera setup
Realme has launched several smartphones under the latest series of numbers. The company launched Realme 9i first, followed by Realme 9 Pro and Pro+. The fourth smartphone expected to be launched as part of Realme’s mid-range smartphone series is the Realme 9 5G.
Realme has yet to confirm a launch date. However, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed the launch schedule for the device. The leaker also uploaded a design render that shows the back of the phone. Realme 9 5G launch
Realme 9 5G will be the fourth smartphone in the series. The company is expected to announce an official launch date soon. Ahead of the official launch announcement, leaker Mukul Sharma claims the device will debut in March.
The leaker also revealed the design of the back panel, which showcases a gradient white color variant. The phone has a rectangular camera module with a triple camera on the back.
According to the leaked specs, the device will come with a 48-megapixel main camera sensor. It will also feature a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The recent leak also revealed that the phone will be released with two storage options. The base version will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The higher storage variant with 128GB of internal storage will have 6GB of RAM. It will be available in four colors: Stargaze White, Supersonic Blue, Supersonic Black and Meteor Black.
Other details of the device have also become known. First, the phone is said to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display. It will come with 90Hz refresh rate support. There will be a cutout for the 16-megapixel front camera in the upper left corner of the screen.
Under the hood will be a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. It will ship with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The phone will run Android 12 out of the box. It will have Realme UI 3.0 layer on top of Android. There will also be a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, etc.
