Realme 9 Pro, Pro+ Specs, Launch Date Officially Confirmed, Will Come with 60W SuperDart Charging, 120Hz Display

Realme is gearing up to launch its new numbered smartphones. The company has confirmed the launch of the Realme 9 Pro series. Both devices, Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+, will launch on February 16th. Before the launch, Realme confirmed the main specifications of the devices.

Realme’s Indonesian website has confirmed the processor, fast charging and other key details of both models. The specs listed suggest that some of the leaked details were slightly off. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and other details of Realme 9 Pro, Pro+.

Realme 9 Pro, 9 Pro+ Specs Confirmed

The Realme 9 Pro+ will be the more premium offering among the two Realme smartphones released on February 16th. According to the confirmed specs, the 9 Pro+ will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera sensor. The same sensor has been used in devices such as OnePlus Nord 2, OnePlus 9 series, etc. Realme will also bring OIS support to the 9 Pro+. While the company has yet to confirm it, rumors suggest the phone will have an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. It will also ship with 60W SuperDart charging out of the box. It is rumored to come with a 4500mAh battery. Realme has also confirmed that the phone will have a Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. In addition, there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner. Rumor has it that the Pro+ model will be compact with a 6.43-inch display size and Full HD+ resolution. The starting price is expected to be $280.

On the other hand, the rumored 9 Pro will retail for $230 and will be available in 4GB + 128GB variants. The devices will have a Light Shift design and will be available in three colors. Two of them are Sunrise Blue and Glittery Red.

The 9 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC. There will be a 64MP triple camera on the back. The phone is also rumored to have an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. It will have a display with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. According to reports, the phone will have a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution.

The phone is confirmed to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will also come with NFC support. Both Realme 9 Pro series phones are expected to come preloaded with Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
