Realme 9 Pro Plus goes on sale today at 12:00 via Flipkart: price, specifications

The Realme 9 Pro series debuted last week in the Indian market. The Realme 9 Pro series consists of two phones – Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro Plus. The 9 Pro Plus is the company’s first phone with the Pro Plus moniker, and also the most expensive numbered device from the brand to date.

9 Pro Plus will compete with Xiaomi 11i, OnePlus Nord CE 2 and its own GT Master Edition. The phone will go on sale today for the first time in the country. Let’s take a closer look at the Realme 9 Pro Plus price in India, launch offers, specs and features.

The 9 Pro Plus comes in three configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.

• 8GB + 128GB variant – Rs 26,999.
• 8GB + 256GB option – Rs 28,999

The smartphone will be available for purchase from 12:00 through Flipkart and Realme.com. As a kick off offer, Realme has partnered with HDFC Bank and is offering a Rs 2,000 discount on all purchases made with HDFC debit and credit cards. In addition to this, there are several offers that shoppers can take advantage of on Flipkart.

Specifications and features of Realme 9 Pro Plus

The 9 Pro Plus features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display panel houses a front-facing selfie shooter inside a hole-punch notch, as well as a fingerprint scanner on display.

Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core processor paired with a Mali G68 GPU. The phone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The 9 Pro Plus comes pre-installed with the latest version of Android, i.e. Android 12. The brand has also promised to update two versions of Android for the device, so it will be updated to Android 13 as well as Android 14 in the future.

In terms of optics, the 9 Pro Plus offers a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, Realme has equipped the smartphone with a 16-megapixel front camera. 9 Pro+ has a 4500mAh battery and supports 60W fast charging.
