Realme 9i with Snapdragon 680 SoC and 33W fast charging launched: price, specifications

Realme today launched its first Realme 9 series smartphone, the Realme 9i, in Asia. Last week, Realme introduced the device to the Vietnamese market for the first time. Speaking of specs, this new offering from Realme comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor. The phone is equipped with a 50 MP triple camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 16 MP front camera. Let’s take a look at the detailed specifications and prices of the device:

Realme 9i pricing and availability

The Realme 9i 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at $189, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at $216. The device can be purchased in two color options: Prism Black and Prism Blue. The phone will go on sale in Asia from January 25 through Flipkart, Realme website and retail stores.

Realme 9i sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display. The display panel has a cutout to house the selfie camera, a 90Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 401 PPI, and a brightness of 480 nits. Under the hood, Realme 9i is powered by a Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz, manufactured using a 6nm process technology. The device is equipped with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage.

The smartphone is equipped with a triple camera. The camera module includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP black and white lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The main 50MP sensor has PDAF and an f/1.8 aperture, while the remaining 2MP sensors have an f/2.4 aperture. On the front side of the phone is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.1 aperture.

The backlight is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, Realme 9i has features like dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm audio jack and USB port Type-C.

The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor built into the power button. The phone is 8.4mm thick and weighs 190 grams. Last but not least, the device also supports microSD cards, allowing you to expand the storage capacity.
