Realme GT 2 Pro Live-Image reveals under-display selfie camera, 12GB RAM, 1TB storage and more
Realme is gearing up to launch its first premium flagship, the Realme GT 2 Pro. A couple of days ago, a report revealed that the upcoming Realme flagship will come in two versions – one with an under-display camera and the other with an inset notch hole to house the camera. Motorola has also followed the same path with its recently launched Moto Edge X30 smartphone. In new developments, some interesting details related to the Realme GT 2 Pro have now surfaced online, thanks to tips from Ishan Agarwal and Digital Chat Station.
Ishan has tweeted a live image of the upcoming GT 2 Pro (codename RMX3300). A live shot reveals that Realme’s upcoming flagship will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 3GB of virtual storage. It will come preloaded with Android 12 with Realme’s proprietary UI 3.0 user interface. One interesting thing the image shows is that the GT 2 Pro offers up to 1TB of internal storage.
In addition, in a separate leak, Digital Chat Station also shared some details about the display and camera of Realme’s upcoming flagship. According to DCS, the GT 2 Pro will offer a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also be Realme’s first phone with a Quad HD+ display resolution, but that’s to be expected given Realme is positioning it in the premium flagship segment. DCS also claims that the display panel for the GT 2 Pro is supplied by Samsung.
Moving on to cameras, the Realme GT 2 Pro could include a 50MP main shooter with OIS and a 1/1.5-inch sensor, this could be the Sony IMX766 sensor we’ve already seen on several phones including the OnePlus Nord 2. It’s said to be The main sensor of the GT 2 Pro is accompanied by an ultra wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. For selfies, it can offer a 32-megapixel camera on the front.
True, DCS does not disclose the battery capacity of the phone. It is said to support 65W SuperDart fast charging. Previous leaks have claimed that the GT 2 Pro will be the first phone to feature 125W UltraDart charging, but I’m guessing that’s not happening.
