Realme GT 2 Pro features paper design and 150-degree ultra wide-angle camera: what we know so far
Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT 2 series of smartphones. The upcoming Realme GT 2 series is supposed to consist of two devices namely Reame GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro. The company plans to launch the Realme GT 2 series in China on December 20. Ahead of the official launch, Realme has started teasing several aspects of the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone. According to known details, the Realme GT 2 Pro will have a paper-like back panel. In addition, the phone will feature a 150-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, according to a new teaser revealed by Realme. Let’s take a look at the details revealed by Realme ahead:
Realme GT 2 Pro will get a 150-degree ultra wide-angle camera
Realme CMO Chase recently took to Weibo to announce that the upcoming Realme GT 2 series will feature a paper design. In another post, Realme’s official Weibo revealed that the Realme GT 2 Pro will sport a 150-degree super wide-angle lens. While the resolution of the camera is not known at the moment, some rumors suggest that the device will come with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP super wide-angle lens, and an 8MP camera. The smartphone is expected to have a 32-megapixel camera on the front. As for the rest of the phone, the device sports a 6.8-inch WQHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Realme GT 2 Pro has been confirmed to use the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. The device can have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The previous leak also suggests that the device could hold up to 1TB of RAM and could offer virtual RAM support up to 3GB. In terms of software, we can expect the Realme GT 2 Pro to boot Android 12 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 on top. The device is rumored to have a 5,000mAh battery that can support 66W fast charging. As for the price, the phone will cost $799. We should get more details from Realme as we get closer to the launch of the Realme GT 2 lineup.
