Realme GT 2 Pro goes on sale today at 12:00 via Flipkart: price, specifications

Realme recently launched its latest generation flagship, the Realme GT 2 Pro. The GT 2 Pro features the world’s first biotech smartphone design, which is made up of a biopolymer material from SABIC. The all-new GT 2 Pro will go on sale in the country for the first time today. The all-new GT 2 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and competes against the likes of Moto Edge 30 Pro, OnePlus 9RT and iQOO 9.

Other features of the GT 2 Pro include a 120Hz Quad HD+ AMOLED display, a 50MP camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Like other Realme devices, the GT 2 Pro supports 65W SuperDart charging. The phone boots Realme UI 3.0 which is based on Android 12 and promises to receive three Android platform updates. The GT 2 Pro comes in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The base variant of the device costs $650, while the 12GB + 256GB variant of the GT 2 Pro costs $761.

As a starter offer, Realme is providing an instant $65 discount on HDFC credit and debit card transactions. Customers will also be able to take advantage of an instant $65 discount with SBI credit cards. In addition, GT 2 Pro buyers can get the $65 Realme Watch S (Black) for free.

The Realme flagship will go on sale at 12:00 pm exclusively through Flipkart and Realme.com.

Specifications and features of Realme GT 2 Pro

Realme’s latest flagship features a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1400 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. At the heart of the GT 2 Pro is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor coupled with an Adreno 730 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage.

The GT 2 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor and a 50MP Samsung Isocell JN1 ultra wide-angle sensor with a 150° field of view. There is also a 2-megapixel macro sensor with support for 40x zoom. For selfies and video calls, the GT 2 Pro uses a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor.

The Realme flagship packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 65W SuperDart fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup with high-resolution audio.

The GT 2 Pro is available in three color options: Paper Green, Paper White and Steel Black. It measures 163.2×74.7×8.2mm and weighs less than 200 grams.
