Realme Narzo 50A Prime featured on website ahead of upcoming launch

Realme launched the Narzo 50 series late last year. The company has launched two devices under its budget Narzo series, which includes the Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i. It looks like another smartphone from the Narzo 50 series is coming soon. The Narzo 50A Prime listing has been spotted on the Realme website.

The listing doesn’t reveal any specs of the device, but hints at a launch soon. The 91Mobiles report also states that the device was spotted on the EEC certification website in November 2021.

The Narzo 50A features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with waterdrop notch for the front camera. The phone has an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and a display with a maximum brightness of 570 nits.

On the back are a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera located inside the waterdrop notch. Under the cover of the phone is a 6000 mAh battery. It comes with support for 18W fast charging. With such a large battery, the phone weighs 207 grams and measures 164.5 x 75.9 x 9.5mm.

Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset and Mali-G52 for graphics. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. As befits a budget smartphone, users can expand the memory using the microSD card slot.

The phone runs Android 11 out of the box. It has Realme UI 2.0 layer on top of Android. For biometric authentication, the phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It comes with connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
