Realme: Official announcement of Realme 9i

Realme, earlier this week, launched the Realme 9i handsets. Realme 9i features a 90Hz Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 50MP camera, and 5000mAh battery.

Now, the company appears to be gearing up for a scaled launch of the Realme 9i. Realme shared the first teaser of the Realme 9i launch this morning. Take a look at the teaser.

The launch of Realme 9i was previously announced by Madhav Sheth. Realme 9i is said to launch in different markets within the next two weeks. Since the company has started sharing teasers, we can expect it to launch the phone in the Asian market soon.

Realme 9i specifications, features and price

The Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 480 nits of brightness. On the display panel, the front-facing selfie camera sits inside a notch that sits in the top-left corner.

The Realme 9i is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with an integrated Adreno 610 GPU. The handset comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It boots Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top.

Realme 9i boasts a triple rear camera and LED flash. The main sensor of the device is a 50-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2MP black and white sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The Realme 9i offers a 16MP f/2.1 aperture camera for selfies and video calls.

Realme 9i is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a Type-C charging port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a stereo speaker setup, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes in two color options – Green Quartz and Black Quartz.

The Realme 9i costs around $275 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. However, we can expect the price to be cheaper in other markets.
