Xiaomi India just launched the Redmi 10 smartphone in the Indian market yesterday. With the launch of Redmi 10, Xiaomi now has two phones in the Redmi 10 lineup in India – Redmi 10 Prime and Redmi 10. The leaker also claims that the upcoming Redmi 10 Power will be very similar to Redmi 10, which is also known as Redmi 10C in global markets.
For those who don’t know, the brand released the Redmi 9i and Redmi 9A phones back in 2020. Both of these devices were identical except for memory and storage. A few months ago, the brand announced the Redmi 9i Sport and Redmi 9A Sport, which were basically the Realme 9i and 9A respectively but with a new color scheme.
Specifications and features of Redmi 10
The Redmi 10 boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 400nit peak brightness. It has a waterdrop notch and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor paired with an Adreno 610 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS2.2 storage. The device boots MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
In terms of optics, the Redmi 10 offers a dual rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor. The high-resolution sensor on the mid-range Redmi phone is complemented by a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 5-megapixel camera.
Redmi 10 is equipped with a 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a fingerprint scanner on the back.
It is not clear what changes could be between Redmi 10 and the upcoming Redmi 10 Power. However, we can expect the Redmi 10 Power to have a Full HD+ resolution display and possibly a triple rear camera setup.
