Redmi 10A with MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and 5000mAh battery launched: price, specifications
Today, Xiaomi has added a new affordable smartphone to the Redmi lineup. The company introduced the budget smartphone Redmi 10A. The company’s latest smartphone is billed as a “desktop smartphone,”which means it’s a device for anyone looking for a low-cost, entry-level device. Redmi 10A was launched in China back in March.
The Redmi 10A comes with a MediaTek processor, a large battery said to last 2 days, and a single rear camera. Let’s take a closer look at the phone’s specs and pricing.
Redmi 10A Pricing and Availability
The Redmi 10A comes in two configurations, the 3GB + 32GB variant is $111 and the 4GB + 164GB variant is $124. Color options include blue, silver and black. The phone will go on sale starting April 26, 2022 on Amazon.

The affordable Redmi 10A features a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with 400 nits of brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor clocked at up to 2GHz and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11一 which is disappointing for a phone released in April 2022. The phone is equipped with up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.
In terms of optics, although it looks like the Redmi 10A will feature a multi-camera setup from the images, the phone actually only comes with a single rear camera with a 13MP sensor and LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 5-megapixel camera. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery, which is designed to last up to 2 days without recharging. The device comes with a Type-C port and supports 10W charging.
Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, 9mm thin, 194 grams, and Bluetooth 5.0.
