Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered And Miles Morales Coming To PC This August

The Marvel Spider-Man series, previously exclusive to the PlayStation platform, is now on the way to release on PC. As revealed in yesterday’s State of Play, Insomniac Games will soon bring both Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales to PC.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Insomniac Games has confirmed that the game will bring many new features to the PC, such as customizable rendering options, ray-traced reflections, and more to be announced at a later date.

Insomniac has partnered with Nixxes to develop and fully optimize both PC games. The series will join other great once exclusive PC titles like Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War.

Spider-Man Remastered PC release date announced

The release of Marvel’s Spider-Man for PC will also include The City That Never Sleeps DLC which features three additional story chapters with Peter Parker as the main character with additional missions and challenges. The game will be released on PC on August 12, 2022 and is sure to be a big hit among PC players.

Insomniac Games also confirmed that as of May 15, 2022, the Marvel’s Spider-Man series has sold over 33 million copies worldwide, making it one of the biggest games from Sony. PlayStation has been focusing on releasing more of its own games for PC and with the success of games like Death Stranding, God of War and especially Horizon Zero Dawn that have been on the platform – SIE plans to introduce a lot more soon.

PC fans are likely to embrace the series with open arms as both games are tech powerhouses that can take advantage of powerful PC hardware. However, the more interesting issue is whether the game’s controls and swinging mechanics translate well into a mouse and keyboard setup.
