The Havoc repository now contains themes for non-hack devices and accepts payments in cryptocurrency.

Along with all the other exciting news released on Thursday, the Havoc repository is joining the turmoil with its own fresh announcement.

In a tweet posted late Thursday evening, Havoc announced that it would begin hosting themes for stock (non-jailbroken) devices and would also begin accepting cryptocurrencies as a form of payment for bundles.

With new theme support, theme creators can now upload as files. deb and files. zip, the latter of which can be downloaded and unzipped on non-jailbroken devices to use as shortcuts on those devices. While this method isn’t as clean as traditional jailbreak-based theming methods, it’s a great way to give non-jailbroken devices a fresh new look, especially when no jailbreak is available.

Havoc will intelligently provide the correct file for download -. deb or. zip – to the buyer on behalf of the seller, depending on whether the user’s phone is hacked or not. Joining this newfangled behavior is the ability to use the “Upload Icons”button on the “Order “page of the repository.

Several themes are already available to the public, including BossGFX’s Viola, XT’s Peek, Timeloop’s Echoes, JustNewDesign’s Crayon, and Purdixx’s Muze 4, among others.

Havoc’s new support for cryptocurrency-based purchases complements existing Apple Pay repository, credit card, PayPal, and Alipay repository options, many of which were added by popular demand. Supported cryptocurrencies currently include Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, and a few others.

The benefits of paying with cryptocurrencies are outlined in a Havoc blog post:

Cryptocurrency payments are not only more convenient for many customers, but they also provide an extra layer of privacy, especially when combined with the Apple Private Relay login feature. By using both of these methods together, customers can remain completely anonymous throughout the entire account creation and checkout process.

Havoc also supports Bitcoin’s Lightning Network, allowing you to make almost instant payments at incredibly low fees, just like traditional payment methods.

In addition to these two major announcements, Havoc is adding various other enhancements that may be useful to you as a user. These improvements include the following:

  • Linking social media logins to have access to more than one login method (only email can still be used)
  • Merchants can now mark their packages as compatible with iOS 15.3.1 or below for use with palera1n.
  • Debut of tags to help merchants categorize their packages and increase the likelihood of user discovery.
  • Additional analytics and statistics can now help merchants view and manage download or sales performance.

In February, the Havoc repository replaced the Packix repository, which was once one of the largest modern repositories. Havoc has become popular with many jailbreak tweak developers and theme creators who want jailbreak breakers to find, buy and download their packages.

Whether you are hacked or not, you can proceed https://havoc.app/to start browsing the repository. You can add it to your jailbroken device’s package manager app, or simply view the repository in the Safari web browser.
